It will be our pleasure to be among the first to welcome you to The Waters!
Whether you are visiting our community for the first time or choosing to live with us at The Waters, from the first “hello” to the smiles from residents and staff, it’s our goal to know you by name and help you feel right at home.
We look forward to helping you make a first “splash” into The Waters of Kingsley Shores so that you can discover and experience how we deliver personalized hospitality, care, programming and accommodations for your overall wellbeing. We call this authentic connection The Waters Way—the basis of our distinctive style of gracious living. Our leadership is an important part of making sure that promise is being fulfilled every day.
At The Waters, we see you; we hear you and we know you—not just by your name, but by all the unique characteristics of your, or your loved ones, individual self.
I’ve dedicated my career to serving seniors since I was 16, starting in my hometown of Apple Valley. With over 40 years of experience in the senior living industry, I’ve held various roles, including Facility Manager, HR Director, and Assisted Living Administrator. My passion is connecting with people and learning their stories, and I’m excited to bring this commitment to The Waters. Outside of work, I live in Waconia with my partner Theresa, our two adult sons, and two beloved cats. I’m also an avid gardener who enjoys growing and canning my own food.
Marissa Rudd
Senior Living Consultant
I’ve been in the senior living industry since 2007, starting as a CNA and eventually moving into operations, where I served as an Executive Director. I hold a Bachelor of Human Services in Gerontology from Metropolitan State University. My husband Shawn and I have a son, Axton James, who just turned 5. I grew up in Eagan, MN, and enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, attending concerts, gardening, and traveling. I’m excited to be closer to home and look forward to getting to know all of you! My door is always open.
